In the heart of Chelsea, one of West London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, our client approached us with a clear brief: to upgrade the security of their townhouse without disrupting the timeless elegance of the surrounding terrace. The challenge was to deliver a front door that combined the highest levels of protection with a design that felt entirely at home within the characterful streetscape.
From the outset, it was essential that the new entrance door retained the proportions, detailing, and presence that Chelsea’s architecture is known for. Our design team worked closely with the client to develop a bespoke solution that echoed the property’s heritage features while introducing the latest in modern security technology.
The finished entrance is the result of this balance. We crafted a fully bespoke security door framed with custom architraves and mouldings, carefully milled to reflect the period detailing of the street. The glazing incorporates engraved motifs that reference traditional decorative styles while being built to the highest standard: triple-glazed and triple-laminated for maximum resilience. The door itself is engineered with a multipoint locking system, discreetly integrated to provide advanced protection without compromising the clean, traditional appearance.
To complete the design, the door was finished in a deep, high-gloss finish, a finish that has become synonymous with refined Chelsea entrances. The effect is both striking and understated: a door that feels timelessly elegant yet delivers uncompromising performance.
