Bishops Walk presented us with one of the most extraordinary commissions we have undertaken: a truly monumental entrance that demanded both vision and engineering precision. The client’s brief was as ambitious as it was inspiring — a 5.3-metre-high door structure that would serve as the centrepiece of their residence. The challenge was to craft a door of such scale and grandeur without compromising on the elegance, security, or flawless finish that Stronghold Security Doors is known for.

From the outset, the project required exceptional planning. A structure of this height could not be installed through conventional means, so our team coordinated the use of a crane to carefully position and secure the upper section of the frame. Every detail of the process was executed with meticulous precision, ensuring the proportions and alignment of the design remained perfect once in place.

The door itself is a statement piece — a bespoke, circular-patterned design finished in a deep, mirror-like high gloss lacquer. At its centre sits a custom-designed door knob, a sculptural feature in its own right that completes the symmetry and artistry of the entrance. Behind the aesthetics lies a discreet yet powerful layer of innovation: a motorised locking system with integrated fingerprint access, providing the client with seamless, keyless entry and uncompromising security.

Standing in front of the completed project, the result is nothing short of breathtaking.
